Long standing contractual dispute with Wiltshire Direct
Services (WDS)
settled with a payment of £16,000 net and was not brought forward as a
creditor. Therefore this payment in year created the loss which was
supported by the deposit account.
Playing fields and Village Hall are considered to be'community assets' and
are not included. |

| Of the remaining balance £5,000 has been set aside for
replacement of the thatched roof at the village hall and it is intended that this figure
is improved by £1,000 per year. The estimated life of the present roof is approximately
20 years. A further £1,000 a year is earmarked for general improvements and maintenance
to the village hall. Refurbishment of play equipment was agreed to an amount of £2,500.
£15,000 is held to refurbish play equipment £13,000 will be given as a planning gain
from Westbury Homes who are developing a site in the village. £6,265 has been set aside
for work on the Millennium Park. £5,000 for Road/Safety improvements. Our Reserve Fund is
currently £31,265. |
