Notes:
 
1.   Recovery of Wayleaves due, which had been sent to an old address and not forwarded.
2.   Laptop computer purchased for use by Clerk.
3.   Chairman claimed both his allowances, plus two other Councillors also claimed their allowance under the provisions of the Local Authorities (Members’ Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 (S.I. No.1021) (as amended by [S.I. No.1692]). Part 5 of regulations deals specifically with Parish Councils.
4.   Emergency drainage work in January 2008 cost £2,137.75. A grant for reimbursement from the Cotswold District Council’s Resilience Fund has been applied for.
5.   A grant of £3,000 was made to the Village Hall Management Committee to subsidise the installation of a sound and vision system.
6.   A grant of £500 to subsidise the repair of vandalised gravestones was made to All Hallows Church.
7.   A grant of £2,081 was made to the South Cerney Cricket Club to subsidise drainage work on its pitch at Upper Up playing field.
8.   As part of the Village Plan to provide facilities for the youth of the parish a grant was made to Young Gloucestershire for £2,000 which would be match funded by a local business.
9.   £630 which had been collected for the plantation of trees was dispensed.
10.   £1,246.98 was paid to Gloucestershire County Council as a grant to secure street lighting improvement.
11.   £720 was paid to agents appointed to look after the interests of the Parish Council during work by Thames Water Ltd to lay a new sewage pipe through its playing field at Upper Up. This outlay will be recovered from Thames Water Ltd when the contract has been completed.
