On 15th February Highways England launched a consultation into route options for the A417 ‘Missing Link’. The public consultation will run until 29 March 2018 and the council wants you to get involved. There are a number of events taking place in the county, where information will be available along with an opportunity to speak to Highways England representatives about the project and the consultation. You will be able to have your say on the two route options shortlisted by Highways England. To make sure as many people as possible have the chance to give their views, Gloucestershire County Council is supporting the consultation by hosting information points in some libraries and at Shire Hall. This is a very important stage of the project to fix the A417 ‘Missing Link’ and although we need to keep the pressure on to make sure things continue to move forward, this is a key stage of the process to make sure the campaign becomes a reality. More information on the campaign can be found at www.a417missinglink.co.uk/.
