Gloucestershire County Council proposes 40 mph for parts of Station Road and Spine Road, South Cerney

posted 31 Aug 2016, 07:59 by Robert Cowley

Gloucestershire Highways proposes a new 40 mph speed limit along the roads shown on the accompanying plan.  They say the scheme aims to reduce vehicle speeds, to raise motorists’ awareness of junctions, and to improve road safety for motorists, cyclists and pedestrians.  The proposal includes improvements to signage, road markings and surfacing, and a new central island on the southwest-bound approach to Station Road.
