South Cerney Parish Council Results
The results of the election which took place on Thursday 3rd May are as follows: Julian Caunce – 361; Frances Chapman – 493; Enid Chubb – 604; James Harris – 590; Mike Hindley – 330; Peter Jay – 687; Doris Land – 419; Philip Nicholas – 482; Mike Stuart – 662; Carol Tunbridge – 441; Steve Walker – 345; Roger Webb – 506. Eleven Parish Councillors were elected.
At its first meeting the Parish Council elected Mike Stuart as its Chairman and Philip Nicholas as Vice Chairman.
The Cotswold District Councillors representing the Water Park Ward are: Judith Aram, Clive Bennett and Peter Messenger.

4 PILLARS HOTEL S.106 CONTRIBUTION FUND
The deadline for completed applications for grants from this fund is the 26th June. As part of the planning permission for the erection of a hotel at Lake 6, South Cerney, Four Pillars Hotel is contributing £100,000 to conserve and enhance the wildlife and landscape of the Water Park. Any society or group can apply to the Cotswold District Council for a grant from this fund.
Preference for allocation of funds will be given to the following projects: contributing to local and national biodiversity action plan targets; close to the development site at Lake 6; considering the Cotswold Water Park as a whole; within the Cotswold District; from charitable and not-for-profit organisations, community groups and/or parish/town/district councils; levering in other funds; supported by the relevant Ward Member(s). At least 5% of the total funding will be allocated as awards of less than £500 for small scale, local habitat improvement works.
