OFFICIAL OPENING OF NEW FACILITIES AT UPPER UP
Following the completion of the reinstatement of Upper Up playing field which followed the installation of the new sewage system, the new pathway from the car park across the play areas to the Ashton Keynes road, the refurbishment of the Football Club's changing room, the installation of the multi games user area or MUGA and the erection of the shelter, the Parish Council would like to invite residents to the official opening on Sunday 26th April. Plans are currently being finalised but the Silver Stars parachute team has confirmed that it will be displaying its skills at some point during the day. Further information will be available so keep a look out on notice boards.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY
On Wednesday 15th July a public local inquiry will be held in South Cerney Village Hall, School Lane starting at 10am. The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications, will be to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding a length of footpath which will run hi a generally southerly direction along a defined track to the west of the garden of Well Cottage and to the east of Sycamore House and Walnut Tree Farm House for approximately 40 metres before continuing in a southerly direction along the said track between Walnut Tree Farm House to the west and properties 1-5 The Barracks to the east for approximately 30 metres. The path will continue in a southerly direction for a further 15 metres to a wooden and corrugated iron garage where it passes between the garage to the west and the boundary fence to the east going in a south-south-easterly direction for approximately 40 metres, then in a south-easterly direction for a further 20 metres to connect with public footpath BSC11 to the north of Ann Edwards School.
